The South is dry with a little vegetation. The north is the opposite.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are many activities for tourits. The nature lovers will certainely appreciate what's on land but also at sea. In the fishing &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;st1:place  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;st1:placetype&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="EN-GB"&gt;village&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/st1:placetype&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="EN-GB"&gt;  of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;st1:placename&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="EN-GB"&gt;Las Galletas&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/st1:placename&gt;&lt;/st1:place&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Arial;font-size:13;"  lang="EN-GB" &gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; (red dot), are a few diving center. There you're away from the big tourist area and very close to the dive sites. Las galletas has a very friendly Canarian atmosphere.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;All the dive centres have their boats in the harbour in a walking distance of 2 to 3 minutes. Las Americas, Los Cristianos and Adeje where all the hotels is not far (10 to 15 min) which is convenient to pick you up and bring you back at your hotel.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;The diving journey is splitted in two with one trip in the morning and the second in the afternoon. In between it is possible to have a snack in the retaurants of the sea front for a few euros. Normally the day of diving is finished around 15h00. The variety of different fish or others is captivating and there is a lot to see on every dive. There are many different kinds on every dive site. The underwater scenery is breath taking with theses  basaltic formations emerging from the sandy bottom. Some areas look like a big underwater arena. Diving in Tenerife is diving inside enormous volcanic formations witnesses of an old and intense volanic activity.
